My name is John Emmanuel Beesoo, a student at the University Tecnology Mauritius working towards a degree in Computer Science with specialization in Network Security. I am a Full-Stack Developer with a passion for web development, mobile and desktop applications. I am also a self-taught programmer and a tech enthusiast. I am currently working on a few projects.
Worked on a Computer system to feed data to an AI. As a trainee my job was to make sure that the system was identifying the correct images. Work with a team and independently to solve problems. Served as a friendly, hardworking and punctual employee. Organized and prioritized work to complete assignments in a timely, efficient manner.
Sorted and organized files, spreadsheets and reports. Uploaded hardcopy invoices into a database. Kept track of the invoices using an excel sheet. Helped train and aid new trainees to perform the task given.
Build a dynamic website where all information about the clients could be stored as well a steps to be taken when dealing with said client. Work closely with supervisor and independently to learn new technologies need in order to complete the website. Used HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, JQuery,C#.NET, SQL and Entity Framework Razor pages.
A frontend Website made using PHP,HTML,CSS and Javascript. The website is based on a hair saloon and is used to book appointments and to get information about the saloon. This website was the final project for the course Web Programming. The backend of the website was made using PHP and MySQL however the database is not included in the project.
The game was developped using VB.NET and MYSQL.The graphic was build using sprites animations. The game is a 2D platformer where the player has to collect coins and avoid obstacles. The game was made as a final project for the course Visual Programming. Data was stored in a database as well as locally in a file.The project is however not available on github.
Quake Analysis is a website developped using PHP and HTML. Information about earthquakes is retrieved from a web service and displayed on the website. The user can view the earthquakes on a map and can also view the earthquakes on a table. The data is retrived in different formats such as JSON, XML and CSV. The website was made as a final project for the course Web Services.
This project is different from the previous one since the Web-Services has been bult frtom scratch. The Web-Services was built using PHP and MySQL. The Web-Services was used to retrieve information about books and authors. An api was also created to allow the user to retrieve the information in different formats such as JSON and XML. The Api key can be used only 50 times per day. The project was made as a final project for the course Web Services.
